Do You Have The Brains To Sustain A Conversation With Him or Her? Relationship Nuggets

Never change who you are just to please someone else. Please yourself first and then you will attract someone who is pleased with you. Date/marry at the level of your brains and self-esteem. Sometimes, relationships are a direct reflection of our own self-worth.
"YOU CAN'T MARRY “A DANGOTE” IF YOU CAN'T SUSTAIN A CONVERSATION WITH HIM." Before you admire any man/woman, the first question is; do you have the brains to sustain a conversation with him/her? Alot of woman are attracted to men in powerful positions and wealthy men in general but are you his "BRAIN MATE"? Can he hold a boardroom conversation with you? Or are your conversations only going to be in the bedroom? Same questions also go to men seeking to marry intelligent/successful women. Are you her "BRAIN MATE"? Can you handle her brilliance.

Wise men and women admire brains before the body or SWAG. Dear men, do not look at her coca cola shape body because it is her brain and emotional state that will raise your children. Women should not only look at power, wealth and a six pack because it is his brain and emotional state that matters the most.

Some men want a woman who’s below them, who’ll look up to them to make them feel powerful but actually only an equal can make him feel like the king in the most authentic way not out of fear or some obligation.

Sometimes, women do the same thing too. They meet a man that’s got potential, and they vow to get the man to realize his potential. They become his amazing cheerleader.  They try to bring the man to be what they want or what they imagine him to be. But it usually doesn’t work because you’re not dating somebody who is on equally high vibration levels. If you’re constantly trying to bring someone up or get them to feel better about themselves, get them to believe in themselves, you’re basically going to be on a coach/teacher/cheerleader mode most of the time and eventually you’d get tired and drained physically and emotionally.

Find someone at your level, brain-wise and emotionally wise so that the two of you can bring out the best in one another. It will be a relationship or marriage based on co-creation. You’ll understand one another. You’ll speak the same language as each other, and most importantly, you’ll really start to become the person you always imagined yourself to be.

Relationships are amazing when you find someone who is your equal because you can co-create, understand each other, and have a completely safe environment to do so. You feel safe and secure and able to expose who you really are with no fear of judgements

So, think about the relationship right now. Is it built on equality? Or you’re trying to bring the person to your level? A person who is happy with themselves will be happy with you and bring out the best in you. In brief; you can happily marry someone you can sustain a conversation with.

Are You Funding Your Dreams or Your Lifestyle?

One of the biggest obstacle to people with dreams is lack of funding. As much as this is truly an obstacle for many dreamers, I believe it is just a well design excuse for others. Someone with a job and a dream shouldn’t really have the same funding problem as an unemployed person with a dream. If you have a job and a dream, then your job should fund your dreams.

Sadly, most people are just earning and burning with no end in sight. They use their salary to fund their lifestyle and then look for people to fund their dreams. Using your salary to fund your lifestyle and expecting someone to fund your dream is madness in a category of its own. Some have got the car, a fancy apartment, full package DSTV and they celebrate 'God knows what' every weekend spending big amounts on alcohol. Then on Monday, they pull out their shinny business plans and start looking for someone to fund their big dreams.

Dreamer aren't supposed to live like everyone else. Why do you think the rest of the world mocks dreamers? That's because we don't try to fit in or be like everyone else. We are okay being uncomfortable and losing friends in the process. Instead of buying a car and paying car installment every month, you can take public transport while building investing every cent towards your dreams. Instead of renting a fancy apartment, you can stay in a tiny room or share with friends while building your dream. I guess this is too great a price to pay for those who want to fit in. Happy are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to make them come true

Salary should be number one source of capital to anyone having a dream and having a job. The sooner you realize you can never get rich off a salary the quicker you can start doing things differently. How many rich employees do you know? I am not asking how many fancy employees do you know. Being fancy, looking rich and actually being rich are different things. Most employees are trapped in debt. But the wise ones can escape a debt trapped by not going for a car and a house as soon as they get a job. Go for the dream first so that it’d be easier for you to get out of corporate once its time to focus fully on your dreams. They are those who sincerely want to get out of corporate jobs now but are trapped because they funded their lifestyle first when they got the job. They keep wondering, who will pay for the car, the house and the lifestyle if I leave? This is a dilemma but I believe a new generation of dreamers can do things differently. Fund the dream first, suffer now and shine later. Great success requires greater sacrifice. The future begins now.

Of course, not everyone's salary can fund their dreams but if you can fund a convenient comfortable fancy lifestyle then you can fund your dreams. It is either you keep maintaining that lifestyle or you sacrifice for your dreams. Dream big and start small. If you want this entrepreneur life you have to make sacrifices and eliminate things holding you back from stepping up to new levels. This is the time for us to start having these uncomfortable conversations.
